With analog TV transmissions, you can receive the stations even when they are weak, but that is not the same with digital. Either the signal is strong enough or it is not. A lot of people are finding that they have fewer channels to watch with digital when using an antenna. 

You probably didn&#039;t need to buy a digital antenna. Most digital stations can be received with the old antennas. However, it the signals are weak in your area, you may need a larger (stronger) antenna or you may need to orient the antenna to receive the strongest signal. 

You do not see these problem with either cable or satellite services.</description>
