The last few years tend to show that we reached our maximum a few years back and are now in the cooling phase. Again, this is why there is debate. Nature refuses to follow our dictates. I think Mother Nature is fully capable of taking care of herself and our dabbles into trying to correct what we feel is a problem more often leads to greater problems. In the '60 and '70 the cry was we were about to have an ice age and we had to clean up the atmosphere. We did and now more sunlight is getting through causing more heating. Now, some scientist want to add back to the atmosphere the same chemicals we removed. Kyoto and other initiatives only cost us more money and regulation and end up causing us more problems than they solve. Well, maybe you should take a look again at the data.
